Epic Games released the Fortnite patch note 8.01 today. This patch note has added the buried treasure map and has reduced the availability of the Infantry Rifle and clingers.
The Buried Treasure Map
Follow the map across the island to find the “X” that marks the spot. Once you have located the “X” you dig it up to find the treasure. The treasure contains legendary loot. There is a limit of one map held at a time
Infantry Rifle Availability Reduced.
This patch reduces the chances of getting an infantry rifle from chests from 14.41% to 13.39%. It also reduces the chances of getting an infantry rifle from floor loot from 2.41% to 2.24%
The infantry rifle is a semi-automatic rifle with a DPS (Damage Per Second) ranging from 144 to 160 and a magazine size of 8 bullets.
Clinger Availability Reduced
This patch reduces chances of getting clingers from chests from 9.42% to 5.52%. It also reduces the chances of getting clingers from floor loot from 1.27% to 1.02%
Clingers are a throwable explosive that deal 100 damage and you can be stacked up to ten clingers in one item slot. Clingers are great at precision blasts. You can even cling another player and they will blow up.
New Tournament: Gauntlet Solo Test Event & Gauntlet Duo Test Event.

Victory Royale: +3 points (+10 total)
2nd – 5th: +2 points (+7 total)
6th – 10th: +2 points (+5 total)
11th – 25th: +3 points (+3 total)
Each elimination: +1 point
Players are matched against opponents with similar points total. At the end of the Gauntlet Test Event, the Top 5% of players based on their final score will unlock the ‘Gauntlet Finals’ tournament
