Reboot Vans and Reboot Cards – ok, yes, it’s pretty clear where the inspiration for this addition came from, but it still adds an exciting new element to the game. When players are eliminated, they will now drop a Reboot Card. This can be picked up by teammates and taken to the nearest Reboot Van to – you guessed it – reboot their fallen teammate. Once rebooted, the teammate will have 100 Health, 1 Common Pistol, 26 Light Ammo and 100 Wood, so the team will also need to factor in some extra seconds to donate weapons and items to their resurrected squad mate.
These Cards last for 90 seconds once they’ve been dropped and take 0.5 seconds to collect. Rebooting takes 10 seconds. So, there are a few limitations to this, but it still offers potential for longer matches and second chances at obtaining a Victory Royale in Squad matches.
Infantry Rifle Adjustments
This update also sees the Infantry Rifles attack damage be nerfed from 40/42 to 38/40. But, its fall off damage’s maximum range will also be increased from 26/28 to 32/34.
