Revolvers are now back in Fortnite, with the addition of Epic and Legendary variants. They are medium-range weapons that use Medium Ammo. Each load holds 6 shots, with a 63/66 damage rate per shot, which is doubled for head shots. They are readily available, as they can be found across all possible loot drops.
Other Item and Weapon Updates
- The Uncommon and Rare Pump Shotguns have been unvaulted and made available in Floor Loot and Vending Machines.
- The Shockwave Grenade and Suppressed SMG have also been unvaulted.
- The Rare Tactical Assault Rifle, Impulse Grenades, Rift-to-Go and Pirate canons have been vaulted.
- Nerfs:
- The drop rates for the Burst SMG, Tactical Shotgun, SemiAuot Sniper Rifle and FlintKnock Pistol were all reduced.
- The DrumGun’s clip size and fire rate were both reduced.
- Buffs:
- The clip size of the Epi and Legendary Infantry Rifles were both increased from 8 to 10 rounds.
- The Minigun’s player hit damage was increased from 18/19 to 20/21.
- The Heavy Assault Rifle’s hit damage has been increased from 36/38/40 to 38/40/42.
